Friendsgiving Sides

I n g r e d i e n t s :
Green Bean Casserole:

6 cans cut green beans
-
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
-
1 cup milk
-
1 package of French fried onions
-
1 tsp pepper
-
1 tsp salt
Steps:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Drain the green beans before mixing in with the rest of the ingredients.

In a large bowl, combine green beans, mushroom soup, milk, half the box of fried onions, salt and pepper.

Transfer mixture to a baking tray and cook for 30-35 minutes.
-
Take them out of the oven, stir, top with the rest of the fried onions, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve warm.

Scallop Potatoes:

8-10 Red Bliss potatoes
-
2 cups heavy cream
-
2 packages of Boursin garlic and herb cheese
-
Salt
-
Pepper
-
1 cup Asiago cheese
Steps:
-
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
-
In a pot over medium-low heat, melt Boursin cheese with heavy cream until creamy and smooth.

Use a mandolin to thinly slice your potatoes; no need to peel them, but make sure they are washed.
-
In a lightly buttered disposable baking tray, add a layer of potatoes to the bottom, seasoning them generously with salt and pepper before continuing.
-
On top of the potatoes, pour the heavy cream + cheese mixture.
-
Continue this layering process, alternating in between the potatoes and the heavy cream, making sure to season the potatoes each time.

When you are finished layering, sprinkle your asiago cheese over the top layer.

Cook in the oven for 1 ½ to 2 hours, until most of the liquid is absorbed. Serve warm.

No-Bake Cheesecake:

1 graham cracker crust
-
8 oz cream cheese
-
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
3 tsp lemon juice
-
“Melted” strawberries (sliced strawberries with sugar)
Steps:
-
Beat the cream cheese until smooth with a hand-mixer.
-
On a low setting, combine the rest of the ingredients, starting with the sweetened condensed milk, until perfectly smooth.

Pour into graham cracker crust and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
-
Slice and serve with strawberries.
